I'm back from squad chalet.One thing good about squad chalet is that it brought me back to my usual self again. It is always touching to see so many squadmates at squad chalet. :) And talking, playing with them really destressed me alot. I came back a happier person. Haha
Anyway thanks Bangbang, love you guys loads too! Your i.c will not give up so easily. :D
But it is a pity that Zimin did not attend squad chalet since she met with an accident. :( Life is so unpredictable. One moment we are discussing how to meet for chalet, the next moment she got knocked down by a car and ended up under a bus. Visited her yesterday night with fellow extremists and honestly I feel very sad that she can't be with us and had to stay in the hospital alone. She will be undergoing skin grafting for her injured legs though. :(
Cheer up Zimin! Squadmates love you! And you wun die so easily laa, don't think too much anymore. Get well soon and come back to us sweet girl! We will go and eat lunch together. :D
Anyway, the chalet was pretty much the same as any other, except that the people are squadmates! Usual horror movies marathon, which Yushan brought to entertain us. I don't know why, but I kind of laughed when the ghosts appeared. I guess I'm more afraid of blood than ghost. Although blood flows in my veins too, but still I have absurd fears arising within me whenever I see it. Other than that, just playing in the arcade, escape and yea, staying in the chalet. Somehow yesterday boonping, wenjie, yiling and me started to analyse the contents in "I-weekly" magazine which I bought. Got overwhelmed by them though, lol, by their crap. I mean boonping and wenjie, not yiling of course.
For the escape part, tried a lot of stuff with clarine, yingting and yushan. Nothing refreshing, but maybe the highlight is that I sat at the last row of the pirate ship for the first time? I almost wanted to cry, but it was okay at the end, just like sitting on a big swing.
Speaking of swings, I do love swings a lot! Because my father used to bring me and my sister to the playground every Sunday and he would swing me to and fro on the swing. I like that feeling. But I no longer do it unless I visit some park or something.
And I did not go cycling, because I'm sick of falling off from a bike every time I cycle during chalet.
As mentioned above, we visited Zimin at NUH yesterday. Bought her a soft toy and a card. We wrote our well-wishes on the feedback corner of the hospital because it was vacant all the while and we did not wish to waste the ink of the pen on it.
Hmm, visiting NUH was quite an experience for me, because I was admitted into it once. I guess some of you may know, I once had a cardiac virus which attacked my heart when I was young. Many people died from it, but somehow I survived. Haha, I guess my mother was exhausted from worrying about me then. Thank you mummy :)I used to visit NUH often for checkup for my heart's condition and I got an operation there because of that illness. I've got a tiny scar on the right side of my neck now if you have the chance to see it.
But I'm okay now, my heart isn't ill or weak anymore..don't worry..lol..I'm very healthy now although I'm still experiencing sharp pain once in a while. Just that the trip yesterday made me feel the fragility of life again. I guess we should really treasure our lives and the people around us because not everyone is as fortunate as us, hence we shouldn't take things for granted. Those little setbacks of ours are nothing as compared to those fighting against disease or illness in hospital because they are fighting a battle involving life and death. 生命无常，要珍惜。Its true, really.
Really hope Zimin can get well and see her back in school soon. Jiayou ah squadmate!
Thats the end of chalet, a really short one since I only arrived on the second day. No big or earth- shattering words, but to sum up, I think we are really a bunch of close friends and no matter how many disputes we have before, nothing can beat our friendship of four memorable years. I love you squadmates. :)
ROD this August, can I let time stop here?
